Development and Use of Biological Agents and Extracts in Tropical Agricultural Systems

I made the trip up to Rothamsted Resarch to attend the annual meeting of TAAI. The two-day conference was chock-full of interesting talks and good conversation.

Participants came from various institutions including Biovision - Foundation for Ecological Development, ECHO International, and Straw Innovations.

For me, highlight talks were given by Ken Giller, Alejandro Ortega-Boltrán, and Mélanie Surchat.

We were even able to have a delicious curry dinner at the beautiful Rothamsted Manor and get a tour of some of the facilities including the meticulously looked-after soil sample collection from the longest agricultural experiment in the world.

My collaborators at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala submitted a poster and won a prize! Congratulations to them!
