I am a PhD student in the Seed Science and Technology Research Group at Royal Holloway, University of London. I am studying the effects of soil microbiological communities on the longevity of blackgrass (Alopecurus myosuroides) seeds in the soil seedbank. My studies are funded by the London Interdisciplinary Biosciences Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership (LIDo) with Syngenta AG supporting as an industry partner.

I have broad interest and research experience in a variety of agricultural systems including agronomic (maize, cereal rye, wheat), horticultural (tomato, cardamom), and orchard (apple). I am a strong believer in interdisciplinary research and collaboration to tackle complex problems facing agricultural production around the world.

Education

Royal Holloway, University of London | PhD in Biological Sciences | 2026 (expected)

The Pennsylvania State University | MSc in Agronomy | 2019

Vassar College | BA in Environmental Studies | 2014
